On Showing the World…
What you’re made of
{November 29, 2022}
Welcome to the final installment of “Twofer Tuesday”!
Starting next week I’ll be simplifying these weekly newsletters from ✌️Twofer Tuesday to ⏰ Mindset Minute.
Each week you’ll receive a quick hit of mindset goodness to challenge your thinking and redirect your focus toward growth, transformation, and your vision of success.
With that, your final twofers are on showing the world what you’re made of.

“The same boiling water that softens the potato hardens the egg. It’s what you’re made of. Not the circumstances.”

Ho, ho, holy forking shirtballs. The holidays are here and so follows the blustering busy-ness of gifts, parties, and un/spoken expectations.
With the end of year squeeze, so follows the inevitability of conflict (both familial and internal).
Today, I’d like to just remind you that you’re a different person than you were some 12 months ago. You have a different mindset, perspective and expectation of self.
This year, when the water starts to boil, ask yourself:
What sensations am I feeling in my body and where? — First things first, identify the sensation in your body and immediately give it love and attention. Rub your chest when you feel that heaviness. Squeeze your shoulders when you feel that tightness. Giving attention to your body will help ground you so that you can move forward with peace and confidence.
In 5 years, what do you want to be able to say about this instance? — Remind yourself of the impermanence of this moment and how fleeting time is. Do you want to say that you responded with emotion and impulsivity or character and integrity?
- 2 Affirmations -
Every conflict is an opportunity to show the world what I’m made of.
Everyday in every way I am getting better and better and better.

Gabby Bernstein Mini Judgement Course— While on my healing journey it’s been so hard to let go of my habit of judging others. As a recovering “mean girl,” judging people (especially other girls) was a super power. If you can relate, I highly recommend attending this free mini course on releasing judgement and reading Gabby’s book Judgement Detox. It’ll change your life.
